I started this jacket last winter, finished fronts, and back. Put it away till after the holiday and have been working to finish. I would just say I am very disappointed in the yarn that was recommended. I notice that it has been discontinued and it should have. This yarn (if you can call it yarn) is horrible to work with. It is made up of six very thin threads and if you aren't careful it splits an leaves little hairs showing ... I spent 2 hours trying to go back through stitches trying to make it look smooth. I have been a knitter for over 75 years and have never seen yarn like this. I'm at the point of thinking of not finishing it, which is something that I have never done in my life before but I am so disgusted with its appearance ... I know you can't know all the yarn and how it will work out, but I wanted you to know, that the yarn recommended for the jacket was a really poor choice. I really like the Jacket pattern perhaps I will try another yarn. Don't feel bad because I let you know about the recommended yarn, but I felt I have wasted a lot of time trying to use that yarn ... Thanks Jeri Richards
