Technique - Crochet

Colorful, lightweight and wearable, this shawl with sleeves is great to make by simply using a 4-row repeat.

Slightly flaring around the hem, this design is flattering for all figures and fun to wear. The beautiful colors of the James C. Brett Marble DK-weight make this sophisticated cover-up look expensive and extraordinary. Includes sizes S/M (L/XL, 2X/3X), and requires 4 (4, 5) skeins of Marble DK-weight yarn.

Be aware, if you purchase this pattern, that the written pattern and the schematic don't match. The written directions call for a first row of (ch1,sk1,sc); the schematic shows sc all the way across. The written directions call for a pattern repeat sixth row of (sc in ch8 sp, ch 2); the schematic shows (ch1,sc,ch1). I'm currently trying to figure out which pattern to follow: what I'm producing, as of now, does not look as if it can possibly turn into the garment pictured. I'm pretty sure I wasted my money, sad to say, unless someone at Annie's notices the discrepancies in the pattern and publishes a corrected version.
