This pattern is very poorly written and has several errors. It is definitely NOT for anyone without a lot of experience. My main complaints are: Step 1 separate chain piece/totally unnecessary; there are no clear instructions on how this is supposed to be attached or how to work the piece in pattern without having a dangling piece. I attached my yarn, chained 38 and joined to other side with a slip stitch and broke off -- this allowed me to work across for Row 4 of pattern as stated in Step 4. Step 4 & Step 5 -- you cannot work across back and hanging chain from the left front, nor can you work from right front, back, left front as instructions state unless you break off yarn at end of Row 3 for Left Front, then attach yarn at beginning of Right Front. Other corrections are: Step 3 -- parentheses in wrong place, should be after number 30. Pattern Repeat instructions for Row 1 -- asterisk should be before ch 1 and not sk3. Step 4 -- should have notation to tie new yarn at Point C of illustration. All I can say is, the garment is beautiful, but pattern itself needs a lot of work. Unless you are a very experienced crocheter, you will not be able to work this pattern as it is. Very disappointed that I paid for this.

This pattern is very hard to read. It is in a format that I have never seen before. It says it is for advanced beginner. I really don't think a beginner could possibly do it. It is a beautiful pattern, what of the pattern I could do, however I can't finish it because I can't figure out how. I have been crocheting for 50 or more years.
