This is a cute wall hanging. It would be easier to trace using a light box if the pattern wasn't printed front and back, as it shows through. Also, I found that the tree branch isn't long enough to reach all the way across so I would recommend you extend it a little before cutting it out. I think it would be better if each pattern piece was separate, especially the umbrella, hat, and bird's head and include the necessary overlap on the pattern piece. I think it may be a little hard/confusing to someone new to applique to figure this out.

This is a wonderful design and I had fun making it. However, some pattern pieces were missing(birds tail, glass for sun glasses and hole for bird house). I would have liked it better if I did not have to create some of my own pieces.
