This hat is easy and fun to make! The hat is worked in continuous rounds of single crochet without a joining stitch.

This pattern is made using 2 strands of DK-weight yarn held together and US sizes H/5.0 mm and J/6.0 mm.

I want to love this hat, BUT according to instructions I should wear a small. Even with the correct gauge the medium would be too tight. I am going to try a larger size and bigger hook. I am very disappointed.

I love this hat. It is very easy and quick to make. I have made 4 so far, in different sizes and four different yarns. One is white with a denim band. That one is my favorite so far!

I love this pattern; it's easier than it looks and simple to adjust the size. When my (adult) grandkids saw the first one they each wanted some in different colours. Am working on the 4th one now.

I think the hat is a bit too high. I got the gauge correct, but still got strange results. Will try again and slightly modify the pattern.

This is a fun pattern that comes together quickly. I added a contrasting band and a detachable yarn feather accent.
