Technique - Knit

This is a beautiful crescent-shaped shawl that drapes around your shoulders and looks stunning as a scarf.

The curved stockinette body is created through the use of short rows and the leafy border is knit onto the body of the shawlette after it's completed. The construction is very easy: no seaming and no picked up stitches. Finished measurements are 54" x 8". Knit with approximately 350 yards of a DK weight wool blend yarn using a US 7 circular needle as well as US 7 double-point needle for leaf edging.
