Technique - Knit

The brim on the cabled slouch is worked in crossover ribbing, which then bridges into a circular cable repeat.

Knit with 60 (85, 105, 155, 215, 285) yards of Cascade 220 or worsted weight yarn at a gauge of 23 sts per 4 inches in cable pattern or larger needles. Use size 5 (US) and size 7 (US) 16” circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch marker and cable needle. Sizes: preemie (newborn, infant, toddler/child, adult small, adult large). Pattern includes cables both charted and written.
