Technique - Knit
A fun and colorful tam! This entrelac-style tam is worked in the round from the ribbing to the crown. Entrelac is a more complex, basket-weave technique that is comprised of interconnected squares. You can use 1 strand of worsted-weight yarn, or opt to use 2 strands of a fingering-weight yarn for this project. Because it is worked in the round, this tam will knit up fast, especially if you use a backwards knitting technique where you simply knit a row backward to produce the same results without purling. Entrelac and backwards knitting go hand-in-hand because in entrelac, you are constantly turning your work; knitting backward will keep you from getting confused about which side you are supposed to be on.Knit with 3 balls of Jojoland Rhythm Superwash yarn at a gauge of 20 sts per 4" in stockinette stitch using U.S. size 6/4mm dpns; circular needles may also be used.
