Make any one of these beautiful bargello quilt patterns with just one layer cake of 10" squares. To make your quilt larger, all you have to do is make two or four identical quilts and stitch them together. The I Used to Be a Layer Cake bargello quilt pattern includes instructions for all three of the versions shown. Knowledge of the basics for making a bargello quilt will be helpful when making this design.

All versions of the I Used to Be a Layer Cake quilt pattern are approximately 41" x 57 1/2" using 40, 10" squares.
