Ellen has been crocheting since she was about ten years old, but didn't begin her design career until 2004, when she began staying home with her kids. She stitched more than 80 afghans before becoming a full-time crafter who "gets paid to play with yarn!" Within the crochet community, Ellen Gormley is particularly well-known for her stylish bead crochet and join-as-you-go crochet and motif designs. Ellen has more than 200 designs including garments, bags and accessories, and home decor.
