Discovering CopicŪ markers in 2010 was a life-changing experience for artist Jennifer Dove who calls herself "a heavy-equipment operator by trade but an artist by nature." A creative spirit from a very early age, discovering Copic markers expanded Jennifer's career into designing, teaching and writing, in large part focused around Copic markers and the amazing blending, texturing and other coloring techniques she has mastered and developed. Jennifer has earned two levels of Copic certification and teaches many classes in stores and retreats across the country.
Jennifer's designs have appeared in numerous publications, including Annie's Copic Coloring Guide: Nature and Copic Coloring Guide: People, both authored by Colleen Schaan and Maryann Walker. Jennifer has also designed for many well-known stamp companies including Stampendous, Talk About Impressions, Make It Crafty and Doodle Dragon Studios. Some of Jennifer's more challenging colored pieces include a snowman standing on a snowflake-speckled night under a halo of light cast by a street lantern and an intricate cluster of hot chili peppers that look real enough to chop up and add to a pot of chili! Her artwork takes on a lifelike quality that makes her colored images both memorable and collectible. |
