I thought you might enjoy this story. About thirty years ago, I crocheted a little set of Mary-Jane booties (with lacy socks) from your pattern in the Baby Bootie Boutique for a baby that was being born to someone I worked with (in Massachusetts). I didn't really keep up with them over the years since they moved away soon afterwards. When I moved here to Tennessee six years ago, I saw the mother of that baby, who is also living here now. She said that her daughter still had those little booties, had loved them all her life, and had used them for her dolls after she outgrew them herself. The mother asked if I could crochet her an adult size. I’ve never taken the time to try and adapt the pattern (I wish you would adapt it for me, by the way). Anyway, last week that baby gave birth to her own baby, and I just crocheted another pair for the new baby over the weekend that I delivered as an anonymous gift "from a secret friend"!

I am absolutely "hooked" with Annie's designs. I love the download feature as I can then hop in my car and off to the yarn store I go.
I made the pattern with the detachable cowl, one for me and one for my sister. Crocheting it was so easy. I wore it to an appointment and when I took my jacket off, oh my gosh, so many eyes were on that sweater. Everyone asked me "where can I get a gorgeous sweater like that"? I felt so proud knowing Annie's was my source. No words can describe how appreciative I am with the staff that makes this website all possible.
Keep up the wonderful work that you do, because I will be checking in forever. Thank you again Annie's, you are the best.

I love this site, thank you very much. I also really appreciate it when the pattern suggests suitable yarns for the project. Is there any way you could do this for every pattern, or does it involve too much? I would happily purchase the yarn to go with the pattern if I knew exactly what to choose from, otherwise it involves searching the different yarns to find an appropriate one. Thanks for a wonderful website, I ordered a LOT of new books and just received them yesterday, I'll be VERY busy this winter!

I just wanted to say that anything I have ever ordered has been wonderful. The service has been amazing. The only thing you can't help is my impatience while waiting for my order to arrive. I was looking for a certain kind of grannie square with a flower middle and I found just the right book.

I do mostly knitting, but crochet also. You have wonderful patterns, good selection. I always look forward to the next issue.

I just have to say I think that it is great that you offer a PDF download for your books. I recently purchased a PDF book for plastic canvas and it is an incredible book, it is called the Holiday Candy Express. This allows me the opportunity to start the project I have in mind much sooner. I am new to plastic canvas so I think that if I start the Christmas train now, I might have it done by Christmas. Thanks again for offering such a wide selection of plastic canvas projects!
