Tools that Help

Great sewing and quilting tip!

I find that a pair of curved and straight hemostats are perfect to have in the sewing room. I use them to help in the threading of the serger where my fingers just do not want to go. They reach down in the bobbin area of your sewing machine and un-tangle threads that might have gotten caught. They work well as a type of stiletto in certain projects as well. Be sure and hide them from your husband though, mine likes to take them fishing (in the unlikely event that he might catch a fish and need to get a hook out!!). You will find many more uses for the hemostats.
