Purses, totes, duffles, backpacks, messenger bags, etc. -- at some point everyone needs a trusty bag in which to keep their belongings. After all, pockets are pretty limiting, even when you have them. Whether it's just a home for your keys, wallet and sunglasses, or if you need something more substantial, a bag is a handy thing to have when you are on the go.

Some bags have specific purposes like laundry bags, diaper bags, school backpacks or shopping bags. For some, a bag is a symbol. Think of the latest "it" bag that fashionistas scramble to buy before it sells out, or the reusable grocery bags that feature a message about the importance of recycling. Big or small, sturdy or flimsy, most people have a variety of bags that they use on a day-to-day basis but take for granted until something happens to it -- it goes missing or the kids carry it off to root through its contents or the dog chews it up.
