Evergreen Tree No-Sew Ornament Pattern

Often people complain that Christmas seems to start appearing in stores earlier and earlier each year. Often, Christmas music, sales displays and even grocery ads are reminding us to prepare for the season before Halloween pumpkins have even been tossed out. That may be infuriating, but when it comes to handmade gifts, having some early ideas gives you plenty of time to prepare and make gifts for special people without worrying about last-minute rushes to crowded stores or long nights leading up to the holidays as you struggle to finish in time.

Whether your handmade gifts take hours or weeks, having a list early and knowing what you wish to accomplish can only be a good thing. So gather up your naughty and nice lists and set out for the fabric and craft shops to find all the rough materials you will need to create something that is one of a kind. You'll be the smart one -- sewing and gluing away at home while others circle busy malls looking for a parking spot on Black Friday or Christmas Eve. If you celebrate the Festival of Lights, this is even more important since Hanukkah is early this year.
