Read more about this wonderful designer below.
Jill Vosburg of Just One More Row has always enjoyed fiber arts, beginning with embroidery and crochet in junior high school. Later, while attending the Academy of Art in San Francisco, she explored spinning, weaving, bobbin lace, braiding, needle lace, and afghan stitch crochet.
When Jill began her career as a network administrator, she began knitting to relax after work and enjoyed designing her own sweaters.
Her local yarn shop owner, Sandy, insisted that she write her patterns and would not take no for an answer. Jill will always be grateful to Sandy for pushing her into her new career as a pattern designer, with over 20 patterns and more on the way. She has designed couple of advanced lace patterns, but most Just One More Row patterns require only simple combinations of knit, purl, increase and decrease.
All patterns from Just One More Row are designed, knitted, written, and photographed by Jill. She believes that knitting is for real people; nearly all of her patterns include sizes from 34" to 62". Many of her patterns use mitered knitting, easily adapted to any size.
Jill's newest patterns offer unlimited sizes, from infant to Paul Bunyon. She likes to design for her favorite type of knitting - Easy but not boring, with innovative yet very wearable style.
Jill lives in Redwood City, California with her husband and their two cats in a house well-insulated with yarn.
