I love this product for washable delicate fabrics. I sprayed liberally, let the fabric dry until very stiff, and then did the machine embroidery. I used a hair dryer to speed up drying time. The embroidery ends up pucker free. I rinsed out the stabilizer after embroidery, and then let the embellished fabric dry. It is a little labor intensive, but if you want pucker free embroidery, this is the stuff to get. My mistake was buying several cans. By the time I was ready to use my stored cans, the sprayer wouldn't work no matter what I tried, so my money was wasted by buying extra cans.

Will this work on sateen fabric (a genarek satin)?
I haven't tried it, and I don't want to wreck my very important project -- a very special dress for my grandchild.

Sharon - We checked with the manufacturer and they recommend testing it on scrap piece of material first. We have found some reviews where this has been used successfully on similar fabrics but also recommend trying it on a piece of scrap material first to be safe.
