I've been looking for the Crocodile stitch pattern for a while now and was really glad to see that Annie's had this book. While it was a little challenging in the beginning, I have mastered it now and it is just beautiful! There is so many ways to make this afghan look completely different just by changing some colors around. I love the other patterns in the book too! Well worth the money!

Just finished first square of the Water Lily Throw on page 11. It is so beautiful! It was quite a challenge, but well worth it. The remaining squares will be a snap.

I have been looking for a book on how to create the crocodile stitch. I was hoping this one would be the one where the light bulb would go on. It did but not by reading the instructions.

I went to stitchguide.com and followed a video. I now can do the crocodile stitch. I have also determined that I won't be doing this stitch. While it is absolutely beautiful, it takes way too many steps for it to be interesting for me.

The book has five beautiful afghans with great photos and good written instructions (for the basic afghan). There are two afghans that I can make without adding the crocodile stitches and still have a great afghan. Maybe I can find a gal friend who is more adept at this stitch and persuade her to make me the others!

I've been looking for a floral pattern using the crocodile stitch technique. I was thrilled to see this book/download and I look forward to making the "Water Lily" afghan with my own color combination!
I recommend this book to anyone who is looking to learn a new stitch!
