I enjoy making small gifts to give to the cleaning gals or my quilting guild or the helpful staff at a hotel I stay at a lot. This book provides me with so many ideas that I shouldn't run out for a couple of years! With 34 projects, there should be something for every type of stitcher. Quilter, embroiderer, cross stitcher, etc. should find a project or two that holds their interest. Yo-yo's, cording, felt, hexagons, diamonds and shapes are among the various objects to make items from. I am a quilter so I especially like the items made from fabric that I can sew. The patterns are clearly written with photos to help make sure you "get" the written instructions. Finished sizes and a materials list begin the pattern. It is followed by the written instruction. Between the photos and the writings, the patterns are easy to follow and none are overly hard, in my humble opinion. If you like making Christmas ornaments or need a small gift, this book is sure to help you out.
