Technique - Crochet

Stitch a beautiful sweater to wear for casual or dress up for a night out!

A pretty berry-stitch design in a reverse pyramid pattern accents the V-neckline of this luscious pullover. Smaller berry pyramids create a mirror image on the hemline and flared cuffs. This pattern was originally published in the January 2011 issue of Crochet! magazine. It is made using a lightweight yarn. Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL).

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with row 3 of the armhole shaping for the front. I seem to get to there and can't get anything after it to line up quite right.

Row 3: Sl st in each of first 2 [2, 2, 2, 2, 3,
3] sts, sc in each of next 14 [17, 19, 23, 27,
29, 30] sts, [berry st in next st, sl st in next
st] 6 times, sc in each st across,leaving last 2 [2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3] sts unworked, turn. (39 [45, 49, 57, 65, 69, 71] sts)

I'm following the stitch count for large, so third in parenthesis. Seems like every time I try to go to row 4, I can't get it to add/line up right. Please help :)

When I saw the pattern I knew that I had to make it. I love every minute of making this pattern. The instruction read easy and I know how important this is as for I teach crochet to preteen and teenage girl.
I had been looking for a sweater that makes a statement and I found it.
