Beautiful colors -- they look exactly like the photos. My favorites are sorrel, sierra and forget-me-not. I am making a simple ripple afghan with one wide band each of nine of the colors, and it is gorgeous. Yes, the yarn is two-ply (that's what makes it so beautiful) and yes, you can stick your needle or hook between the two plies, but I found that by the second row of the project this doesn't occur. Another great afghan look would be ripples of Muir Woods separated by ripples of solid beige or cream, and I am going to do that next.

Bought this for the first time to add stripes to a bed blanket (along with (Basix). I am using a 4.5 crochet hook and experiencing a little splitting but it's simply the strands untwisting so very easy to fix. Yarn is super soft and love the colours!!

When I started out with this yarn it was separating and I thought I'd be returning but it is a lovely soft yarn and I persevered. Once I got my first round knit I found the splitting was more manageable. So glad I gave it a try because my sock has come out lovely. I will get one pair out of each skein so I am ordering 4 more skeins to complete my Christmas project. I'm knitting on double pointed, size 3 needles and the sock is a basic knit. No complicated pattern with fancy stitches which I think would be a problem with the separation.

Pretty yarn, soft and warm but it splits so badly that it is awful to work with.
