This looks very useful. Several projects I will work on. Quilting a full size quilt now so other projects will wait.

The book is very nice but does need a bit more detailed instructions for some of the projects. Have made one of the items and will definitely make others.

I am trying to learn to sew, so I thought this book would be helpful to me. The projects looked fun and I looked forward to making them all, but this book is not for absolute beginners. The skill levels are for beginners and confident beginners, so I thought I could wing it, but I guess I need the instructions to be a little more basic. If the book had at least a page at the front or in the back that gives a more basic explanation, that would have helped. All that said, the book is very well put together, and I will, at some point, be able to make those projects. I am excited to do them. I am pretty sure that I will get the previous book in the series as well as any after this one. Perhaps for now, though, I should try to find something that explains the basic concepts to absolute beginners.

Ordered to help bring more activities and skills to granddaughter. She will be 14 next month and has been creating sewing projects since she was very small. I've looked through the book and think there are many projects she'll find interesting and want to try.

Glancing through the magazine I noticed quite a few projects I would like to make. The magazine is very nicely done. The instructions are concise, especially for a beginner and the large print is very easy on the eyes. The photography is excellent and very colorful. I purchased the 'hard' copy because I like to have the instructions at my side as I am working on a project as opposed to having to look up at the computer screen. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
