Find serenity in circular patterns! This special issue is overflowing with a variety of techniques and styles to satisfy your craving for fresh mandala patterns, or to get an introduction to this crochet craze. These mandala patterns will have you breaking out your brightest yarns and stitching a spectacular design!

  • A mesmerizing mandala! The Spectrum Mandala Throw plays with colors and textures to make a show-stopping afghan. Rounds of bright red draw your eyes to the stunning center with pops of fresh green and electric blue.
  • Cozy yet colorful! The Fall Comfort Throw is created by alternating three self-striping yarns, allowing you to focus on the unique stitch pattern while the complementary colors weave themselves into a strikingdesign.
  • Classic and sophisticated! The Celtic Mandala Throw lets the textures steal the show. Bands of Celtic cables radiate from the center of the throw with a delightfully tactile finish. Crocheting in a neutral color of worsted-weight yarn sets off the cables created by working crossed post stitches.

  • Plus, you won’t want to miss our exclusive interview with Dedri Uys, designer and author of Sophie’s Universe, one of the first mandala-style throws to take the crochet world by storm!

    Mandala-Style Throw

    October 1, 2020

I love all the patterns. I bought it as a magazine, and liked it so much I also bought it as a download, so that I could print out individual patterns to work with. That way I could keep the magazine in good condition. I really love crochet patterns from the center out. They are easier to work with for me.
