Boho Beaded Beanie Crochet Pattern

January 30, 2022

Intermediate plays a role while connecting triple front posts together for the lattice part but the twisted doubles and even baubles an advanced beginner could get the hang of without too much work. I enjoyed how it incorporated beads and back loop half double crochet stitches to keep it interesting. I modified by taking out the last bauble row to save yarn so I could complete with one skein and just added another row of front post single crochet near the top since the yarn I chose didn't require as many rows for the size I wanted. I got stuck overthinking the DC row after the lattice and reached out to the designer via her FB page and she responded to me almost immediately. This pattern offered everything I could want and the support was fantastic.

this is a well written pattern and I am an experienced crocheter that has been on a nmaor designers testing team 9 years. I made almost 10 of these hats and there are a couple mistakes i found that made me rip out whole sections..i wrote in pencil not to do it again. i prefer making the medium size and use the small option at the end or its too tall. also the yardage requirement is almost douvle of what you need. it says 200 to 400 from baby to adult but i used less than 200 on my 5 or so adult hats and way less only about 150 on the two tween sizes i made. i did detacheable poms in last 2. i used lionbrand wool ease for most and lionbrand mandela on the tweens. doing a cloudcakes at the moment with silver beads
