Dinah Lanz and Aaron Smucker have one thing in common: they always put family first. I loved that the children were loved and understood, they were in morning. I was disappointed that the next was all new people.

This was a very good book how ever I do wish that the author had done more to make it more interesting.

I loved the book BUT on page 144 the next page is 113 - 144. Then it's 177. I hope all the books aren't like that.

I am David Keller and live in New Franklin, Ohio. I am 81 years old and throughly enjoyed A Promise Kept book. I didn't want to put it down. Before my wife had her stroke in 2001 we would enjoy a trip to Amish country. There is a lot of wonderful things could be said about the Amish way of life. We had talked about visiting Lancaster but never made the time. Would enjoy more books on the Amish way of life.
