A Promise Kept (Love in Lancaster Book Series)
Dinah Lanz and Aaron Smucker have one thing in common: they always put family first. After his brother was widowed, Aaron accompanied him and nephew to Pennsylvania, hoping to get a fresh start as shed-builders. Dinah promised her father on his deathbed she would take care of the family, not knowing how hard that would be, or how it would get in the way of her building a family of her own.
When a chance encounter throws Aaron and Dinah into one another’s orbit, they both feel an immediate attraction, but their obligations to family are too big to allow romance to distract them. To find happiness, Aaron and Dinah must learn to see that love doesn’t have to be the complication they have always seen it as—sometimes it’s the perfect solution.

I loved that the children were loved and understood, they were in morning. I was disappointed that the next was all new people.

I loved the book BUT on page 144 the next page is 113 - 144. Then it's 177. I hope all the books aren't like that.

I am David Keller and live in New Franklin, Ohio. I am 81 years old and throughly enjoyed A Promise Kept book. I didn't want to put it down. Before my wife had her stroke in 2001 we would enjoy a trip to Amish country. There is a lot of wonderful things could be said about the Amish way of life. We had talked about visiting Lancaster but never made the time. Would enjoy more books on the Amish way of life.
