Has crocheting a garment been on your project bucket list for a while but getting the right fit was a concern? Many sweaters have set in sleeves and require what seems like miles of seaming! Now, in this all-new class, Lena has designed the perfect first-time garment by eliminating those barriers.

The Uptown Girl Cardigan is a beautiful design that will flatter all figures. With the top-down construction, there are NO seams to deal with and the attractive yoke provides a no-shoulder-seam solution. Everyone can make this pattern as it is sized from small to 5X. It will certainly become your go-to sweater!

In this class you'll learn how to:
  • Determine gauge and the size that is just right for you...
  • Work Front and Back Post stitches to create the pretty neck edge and ribbing...
  • Create the Yoke, ending with the fascinating Star Stitch Band...
  • Divide the yoke and cleverly form the armholes...
  • Customize the body and sleeve lengths to fit you perfectly...
  • Crochet the sweet picot edging...
  • And, make the charming crocheted buttons.
This class includes complete step-by-step instructions for the Uptown Girl Cardigan.

Great class if you want to make this cardigan. But is not for me. I was looking for more information of how to make the yoke for a top down cardigan in the round but is not here. She does not explain why she makes the increases or calculate the stitches,to make your own pattern. Now if you want to learn how to make this cardigan,it is well good explained.

Excellent class. I'm tickled with my first crocheted sweater. I could never have completed it without Lena's wonderful directions. I recommend this class and look forward to another of her classes. Thank you.

Well Taught class! Would like to know of yarn type equivalents that would also work really well (could not find kind listed locally) My sweater turned out great but feel the yarn type I chose did not do the pattern justice.
