A very good beginners class. Even I as a seasoned stitcher learned a few things.

I have the Craftsy Beginning Cross Stitch class. I like Annie's version better. The only complaint I have is I wish that Annie's classes were broken down into segments. It makes it easier to go back to the segment that you want to repeat, rather than guessing where it was.

Good informative class. I hadn't cross stitched in years and wanted to put some projects together for the seniors at the care center. Felt this would be good because of the blunt tip needle. I am excited about putting these projects together for them. Great projects for different skill levels.

I thought this was a very informative lesson. The way you can improve on this video is to include some of the things I discovered in technique when keeping the stitches going in the same direction, ending knots and when doing a simple row and crossing stitch.

I knew a great deal about cross-stitching, having done it for decades, but I picked up some splendid tips on finishing a project. For example, I had never heard of the Mary Ellen spray starch, but after seeing it in action, I hurried to Amazon to order some; it looks like just the thing. Now that I know the lessons are thorough and easy to understand, I plan to pass the DVD on to a neighbor of mine who decided she wanted to try cross-stitching after seeing me do it.

I have one complaint, and that has to do with the superimposed text. It is not arranged in well-adjusted phrases and sentences, making it hard to follow in places, and there are several misspelled words. There is no excuse for this: they are all words used by grade-school kids.

I hope to see a follow-up class with more on advanced techniques!

I would suggest a more magnified view of the actual stitches, esp. the 3/4 stitch.
