Working on this angel now. Pattern is easy to follow and really like the body.....I was afraid is was a spiral stitch which I do not like doing. This is a cluster or modified popcorn stitch and was really nice to work.

I have collected icicles for years and can't wait to see this hanging on the tree.

Thoroughly enjoyed making this angel. Assembling the parts was the longest stage. Will make lovely additions to Christmas gifts. I will be making more and might add tiny beads as accents on halo and wing-tips and give her a little silver bell to hold. Used a chenille stem for the arms, covered them in single crochet to give a more 'finished' like.

Love, love, love this easy and precious angel ornament. I'm making 11 for family and 1 for me. I decided to add the person's birthstone instead of the simple bead at the bottom and starching the wings instead of using the chenille. Still not decided whether to have the arms but if I do, I'll crochet them. I know my family will cherish this Christmas gift!

Loved this pattern! It was fun to make and turned out beautiful!! I opted not to do the chenille arms, but used fabric stiffener on the wings. The tear drop bead at the bottom was a nice touch; I attached it with a head pin and fastened it with my own loop. I will definitely be making more of these.

I love this little Icicle Angel, icicle patterns are hard to find. I chose to stiffen the wings and use the chenille piece only for her arms.

Lovely angel ornament. I changed the crocheted halo for a gold ring used for hoop earrings; hooking inside the angel head. I also plan to add other beads/pearls for the icicle effect. It is a perfect size, too.
