I absolutely LOVED my mug!! It's light ceramic and is supposed to be microwave and dishwasher safe. I'm looking to buy another because I think mine was cracked in shipping. There were very fine cracks that suddenly developed into larger cracks and pieces flaking off. I was devastated. BUT not put off from the product!! You cannot help what happens in shipping if they treat it like a football! NOW I'm looking at the tape measure one, too!!! I just can't help myself!! LOL!!
