It's a beautifully unique stitch. Despite the reviews, I bought it. I've read through it at least 3 times. it makes sense. I wasted a couple of hours looking for the tutorial Deborah mentioned & couldn't find it. I will attempt to crochet it when I have a full day to devote to the pattern and will try to learn it. If you don't hear from me in a month, you'll know I failed. Have a good evening ladies.

When I first looked at this I pulled up a video to learn to do the stitch and found it difficult to do, so I didn't buy the pattern. I guess my brain learned the stitch though, because I pulled up the video again and tried it out and now it is easy to do, so I purchased the pattern today and did a little swatch. I love this stitch pattern. I will be making some blankets and scarves with this pattern.

I find this pattern beautiful but agree with other reviewers as the stitch is difficult to pull through. Also, a short tutorial would be extremely helpful, as I am unsure how this goes going back and forth. It is not going smoothly, and I am sure if we could see how you manage this would help us immensely. I will practice it a little longer but may give up and use another cable stitch pattern, one that has a short tutorial.

Love this afghan & sure wish it was available in print. For some reason, many electronic d
downloads, not just from this site, will not open for me. Don't want to purchase & then find out it would not open. Wish ALL patterns were available in either print or download.

This stitch (Hdsl) is not hard to do but very hard to control. Pulling the 3rd loop through the 1st 2 loops is very frustrating and time consuming, causing me to lose track of where I was with the pattern. I spent 2 days trying to develop a "Rhythm and a flow".... No such luck... Beautiful Pattern, but.....
