This is a wonderful class for the home machine quilter. Wendy is very clear in her instructions and I can't wait to get started on my quilting sampler which will hang in my sewing room. I really love the idea of practicing the motifs on paper to cement the technique in my mind before I actually attempt it on my quilt.

I just started "listening" to Wendy the other night, but could not continue at that time because it was bedtime! LOL! I was confused to the selection of threads and batting which was not completely covered in this first session. I am not sure if it will be covered at a later time. But I liked the idea of learning how to quilt one square at a time instead of doing the whole thing and to connect them to make into a quilt. That is what I wanted to learn how to do! I used the quotation marks to this word," listening", because I am hearing impaired and use the closed captioning which helps me a great deal.

Very helpful class overall. I would have liked to see some ideas for how to solve any common difficulties. The best info I got from this class that made it all worthwhile was the advice to go slow. It seems like I have always heard not to go too slow, but allowing down made a big difference for me.

I have watched this video several times, but I must be the dumbest quilter on the planet. The way you do each block individually is great, and that seems to work for me, but you didn't put the blocks together to form the entire quilt. I need help doing this. I have tried another method, by quilting just the top and the batting together and at the end adding the backing, and still there are a lot of flaws. Please make another video on how to complete the quilt. Thank You!

Janet - The individual blocks are for the lessons while learning to machine quilt. To create the quilt a whole piece of fabric is used with individual blocks delineated by quilting straight lines in the fabric. Hope this helps and happy quilting!
