This does not work. The mat skids across the carpet and the foot pedal skids across the mat.

I also have one and I agree with Suzanne. It slips over the floor so now the pedal and pad both slide. I've tied it in different positions with no success.

Do not buy. My foot pedal still slips all over the floor under the sewing table - only it's the whole Pedal Sta, not just the pedal!
