Are you ready take your applique skills to the next level? In this part 2 episode, quilting expert Nancy Scott will teach you how to add 3-D embellishments to your quilt project. She demonstrates with the Flower Basket Table Runner pattern, but the techniques are also applicable to other projects.

Learn how padded applique pieces lend beautiful dimension through delightful flowers made with yo-yos and dimensional padded leaves. Yo-yos can be made with hand stitching or with a yo-yo maker. You make the choice whether to machine-stitch or hand-stitch the applique pieces to the runner.

Part 1 of this episode covered making the body of the runner. To add the pattern to your Annie's Creative Studio pattern library or to download it to your device, click on the Patterns tab above.
