Cross-Stitch Stitch Guide

Ribbon Embroidery is a very old art form. Simple in technique, it utilizes a needle to take a narrow ribbon through fabric creating many stitches, including some familiar embroidery stitches. While not typically as exact in the placement of the stitches as other forms of needlework, ribbon embroidery can be used to embellish cross-stitch, quilting, plastic canvas and needlepoint designs.
