While I have yet to knit this particular pattern, I've ordered and knit HUNDREDS of other Annie's patterns through the years since I discovered Annie's e-patterns central, and each and every one of the chosen patterns with the instructions have been a pleasure to knit and I've received hundreds of compliments on each and every one of them !! I've also had many requests for me to make and share knitted items from the downloads I've selected through the years and I always make it a point to honor each person's request for an item. As is, I've been a knitter ever since my mother, who was born and grew up in Nottingham, UK, began teaching me to knit when I was only 6-years-old and I'm now '76-years-young' as I like to refer to myself, and have progressed much further as I always 'love a new knitting challenge' !! I can't wait to begin knitting this particular pattern for myself to wear this fall thank you to Annie's for each and every one of your 'new and exciting patterns' ... Keep up your excellent work !!
Love this but I have a question for those who have made this already. Does it start from the top or bottom? I would like to make it a little longer. Thanks for answering in advance.

Janet - The poncho is made from the top down.I love shopping at Annies. I really like that I can download and avoid shipping charges into Canada. This Poncho will be adored by my Granddaughter. I can hardly wait to give it to her. Thank you for all your wonderful a patterns. Peg Walker
Love the pattern. Finished it in time to wear before the weather got warm. Struggled with the pattern at first reading it, then it was a breeze.
I love it and I am working on it right now
