How exciting it is to finish your crochetalong shawl! While it may be tempting to take it for a spin, there's one more important step. In this Crochet Skill Builders episode, designer Marly Bird shares why it's important to wash and block your Chic Shawl. Also, because it's handmade with 100% merino wool, this process is a little different than for acrylic pieces.

In this episode, you'll learn how to:
  • Gently wash the shawl.
  • Block the shawl with pins and a blocking board.
  • Air dry the shawl.
The Chic Shawl by Marly Bird crochetalong is brought to you by Annie's Creative Studio in collaboration with Red Heart and shawl designer, Marly Bird.
