I love this class and reason being is I'm an absolute beginner. I have a learning disability and so trying to read a pattern was way too hard for ME to understand. I spent almost 6 months trying my best to understand what I was reading and I did a lot of research on the abbreviation on the patterns, so for me, I needed a more hands-on way of learning. I have to see it to understand it. I've also taken a beginners class that was wonderful also ( Learn to Crochet By Ellen Gormley, Instructor). So between the both of them, I have learned so much!

The class was very easy to follow. I was able to make a hat the first time. Now on to the next one.

I was struggling with patterns I had downloaded here, there and everywhere. I thought about purchasing this class for a month or so; then i just did it! It made all the difference in the world. Watching the instructor and seeing the pattern explained in very simple terms really REALLY helped me. I gained confidence to at least try and when I did it ignited a passion in me that made me fall in love with HATS! Thank you so much for the class, your patient instructions and above all not assuming that I already knew how to do stuff etc., Some have mentioned that this class is slow and repeats itself. Uhm well, that is how you teach and it worked for me. I cried when i made my first hat using a tape measure to get the exact sizes I needed. I learned how to measure heads from preemies to large adults and not stress over exact stitches that other patterns used It opened up my eyes and allowed me to see that making anything is just a little math and common sense really. Thank you, so very very much.

I enjoyed the class, this would be a great class for a beginner. The repetitive of the stitches made me feel like he thought I wasn't getting it. I have made several hats and found the tutorial very helpful.

I rated class lower because I found it too repetitive. I have made hats but have problems with gauge or sizing of hat. Have tried different yarns and tried adjusting by increasing hook size. I get correct size for crown then co.plete hat but it's either too big or too small. Didn't find help with this.
