Because of spinal cord damage, my ability to knit the conventional way was pretty well gone. I saw Martha Stewart's loom on a TV infomercial one day and bought it. Well, thanks to my Martha Stewart Loom, I fell in love with loom knitting! While her set up does allow for most projects, one can never have too many looms, right? I am almost finished making a "Suggy" with Homespun yarn on this loom.

It is sturdy and well made. I especially love the deep groove in each peg, as well as the tops of the pegs have nice rounded tops, such that losing a stitch is near impossible. I also bought the smaller Sock Loom, to which it too is built/made in the same way.

So, for those of us with "different ability" issues (hand use limits etc.), these looms once again let people like me enjoy a much loved hobby!

By the way, I have two handmade "fine" looms that are also very well made, but I gravitate to this loom for comfort, quality, and ease of use (doesn't take up much storage area either) most times. Oh, and the prices weren't bad either! Definitely "bang for the buck" with this loom!! Thanks!!
