I gave it 4 stars, but did not finish it because I had too many problems making the face on the first "ring" and gave up since I was on a tight deadline. I consider myself an intermediate-level crocheter, but haven't made any toys before so figured maybe that was my struggle. When there's another pending birth in the family maybe I'll try again, but it's definitely not a project to try and rush through.

I'm having trouble with the tree top. Is there an instructional video?
Annie's Customer ServiceMelissa - Unfortunately, we do not have a video that goes along with this pattern. We hope that the clarification that we sent you will help you to complete this wonderful project.

Bought this so that I could create for my great nephews baby which will be due this year. I couldn't find the green recommended either online or in stores. Instead, I used a variegated green and it looks even better than the picture.

Bought this pattern for my daughter to make. She loves working on stuffed animals so I thought she would really like this pattern.

Made this as a gift for my first grand baby and used it as a center piece at the baby shower. It is larger than one would think by looking at the pictures. I agree the grass was somewhat tricky. I added more leafs to the top. I also added plastic canvas to make the bottom not so floppy. Mine did look just like the picture. I did think directions for the top piece were not the clearest, but maybe it's just me.
