Learn Short Row Slip Stitch
Learn Short Row Slip Stitch is a combination of slip stitch ribbing and short rows; this combination produces a soft and flexible fabric that moves with you without binding. Both slip stitch and short rows are considered intermediate crochet skills, but the patterns in this book are designed to be easy, as they are based on simple rectangle construction using short rows for shaping. By practicing a few swatches in the how-to section and then following the instructions carefully, you will easily master this technique. There are 7 fashionable designs, including fingerless gloves, a cap, scarf, cowl, vest and more.

Are you a wearable crocheter? If so, this book will help you learn a clever way to shape your pieces. I am not a wearable crocheter but even I can see how this technique is easy to learn and use in your projects. The first page explains the technique and then there are seven projects from a stocking cap to a vest. There are metric conversion charts on the last page. The skill ratings are from intermediate (five of the projects) to experienced (the other two projects). The written instructions are clear and finished sizes and materials needed are listed. The second to last page is a stitch guide and abbreviation explanation chart. If you crochet wearables, this would be a fun book to learn this technique.
