Large needles, basic stitches -- stockinette, seed and cable -- and a checkerboard arrangement best show the texture of this quick-to-knit project. Knit with 11 balls of Plymouth Yarn« Encore« Worsted or approximately 2,200 yds of worsted-weight yarn at a gauge of 13 sts and 16 rows per 4" using U.S. size 11/8mm needles. Patchwork Trio Afghan Knit Pattern

I made one in the colors shown in the picture. It turned out nice. I am starting a second one in shades of green. Very easy pattern to follow. I made it in 4 panels of 5 squares each so it knit up quickly.

We have the book that this pattern is in, very easy. This is being made by a group of beginner in our Knitting group. The patterns look so nice together, colors just great. I would suggest anyone with a little time to pick this one.

I have made the first two squares following the pattern with no problem then the third square there is not enough stitches in Row 1 and 5 the pattern is 32 stitches and these rows only have 31 stitches, therefore I cannot proceed with this square, have not decided what I will do. Either try to rework the pattern or do another pattern square. Unless you are an experienced knitter I would no purchase this pattern.
