I enjoyed working this pattern. The crossed throw stitch goes fairly quickly and easily once you get the hang of it. The instructions nicely guide you step by step; any oops moments I made along the way were entirely due to my little goofs. You should be aware that some basic crochet knowledge is essential to the finishing steps. I learned the three needle bind off; it turned out well. My least favorite part is the sewing seams together; for me it took longer than anticipated. I would recommend this pattern for advanced beginners and yes I would order other patterns from this designer.

This pattern is great! The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I am not an expert knitter but I had no problems with this pattern. It came out looking exactly like the picture; the curved front corners were not difficult and are a nice touch. This is my favorite sweater. I've done other sweaters from the same designer, and all have been excellent.
