Love the look of this Gansey pattern but want to make it wider than the called for 44" . Is there a multiple for this pattern so that I may make it wider. It will be a gift for my adopted daughter & it will be made in her favorite color of Royal blue. Any help would be appreciated.Lesley Shields

With guidance from Lena, I used 24 as a multiplier. The original stitch count is 24x6144 and 144+3147. I wanted a shawl, so I went with 24x372 and 72+375. With a chain of 76 and a stitch count of 75, every section worked out beautiful to the design. I am loving this design and textures very much. Thank you Lena for your quick response to my question. It was so very helpful.

I think Lena is a wonderful instructor - the videos are precise and accurate. But I have to say that - like Alice F - I would like to know the multiplier for this pattern. In order to make the piece bigger or smaller with a different gauge... We paid for the pattern - why not share this information??? I can guess the number but I think putting the multiplier for each section would be in order and should be shared

Pattern and video are very easy to follow. I am left-handed and usually like to get a video shown as left-handed, but this video is easy for me to use. Lena's instructions are always so clear and complete. Because of Lena, I have become a crochet addict!

I bought this class on a whim. I am currently doing the Block of month as my first. I decided to watch it all at once to see if it was worth it. Well it is. I can easily make this afghan with the amazing instructor. She is precise and even though she is doing a sample piece, I can do it. I really really hope u do more of these. Can't wait to start this one.

I loved this class and the final result! The afghan is beautiful and was quick and easy to make. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I made this afghan as a gift but loved it so much I'm going to make one for myself as well!
