Rachel Alford of Annie's Crafts does a YouTube video on making this shrug. I was about to throw in the towel on this pattern until I somehow stumbled on to this tutorial. I did manage to figure out the star stitch, end stitch and join after watching videos by others then referring back to my written pattern, but how it all came together was still murky at best. Three stars rating is for poor written instructions and failure to mention Rachel's tutorial.
