The suction cups are too close together so they touch in the middle and keep them from a complete suction. I tried to move them apart a little but because of the groves the suction cups sit in they cannot be moved apart. So they are useless because they will not stay on.

Works well with 18" by 4" or less ruler. Anything over seems to be toooooo heavy and will not hold.
My disappointment was in condition my package arrived in … barely taped and part of contents hanging out. I guess the 'guardian angel for packages' must have been overseeing it. LOL -- just might check that packages are more secure so customers do not loose their items before arrival.

This is a great size for smaller rulers that you still need control of! Glad I found it!

On the larger rulers, I attached my handles with Gorilla Glue. Works like a charm.

I have had shoulder replacement and this helps hold the ruler down. I had another one but is was so big that I couldn't take it with me for classes.
