- Red Heart Baby Hugs medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (41/2 oz/247 yds/127g per skein): 4 (5, 5, 6) skeins #4820 Sky; for cardigan: 3 (4, 4, 5) skeins; for hat: 1 skein
- Size F/5/3.75mm and I/9/5.5mm crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge
- Locking stitch markers
- Yarn needle
- 5 (1/2") buttons
- Sewing needle and matching thread
- Pompom maker or 21/2-inch piece of heavy cardboard (for optional pompom)
