I enjoyed making this swan. I did change a few things while making it. I used 15 chenille stems instead of 6 (you can buy a pack of 100 on Amazon) for the neck and head and twisted them together and fold both the head and base of neck end. The other difference was I used a glue gun instead of using fabric glue for a stronger hold and the glue dries instantly. I used this for applying all the flowers and butterfly also. Use a generous amount of plastic wrap to shape the body along with the 4" styrofoam ball which goes in the middle of the swan. I used T-pins into the styrofoam ball to make sure the wings stayed straight while it was drying from the fabric glue. Make sure the bottom of swan is on plastic wrap also. I sat the swan in a square container that gave the swan a snug fit while drying to mount it. It is a big swan when done and is on my entertainment center for a display. I have gotten so many compliments on this swan. I'm sure you will as well. Good luck!
