Comfy & Casual Knit Pattern

This is a pretty pattern & I'm making it for my granddaughter. The Brioche rib it well detailed, but requires focus to keep from purling the sl1yo...., at least for me. My reason for the lower score is based on the poor directions for the pockets. I sampled and tried them in the way detailed. They don't work & I think there is a step missing. Even had my sis-in-law, a master knitter & knitting teacher, try to figure out this step & she had no luck either. Finally decided to use a pouch pocket detail that I found on Ravelry. Still pleased w/the overall sweater. The rib is soft & very stretchy. I'm thinking my granddaughter will like the pouch better than pockets, anyway.

I chose this sweater pattern because it is a comfy looking sweater with an easy going shape, which is great for fall weather. It also allows me to wear a turtleneck tee underneath for added warmth. The pattern instructions are clear and easy to read, all-in-all a great pattern to knit.
