What is a "print-to-order" pattern?

A print-to-order pattern is printed for you at the time we receive your order. Patterns with up to eight pages are printed in color; patterns with more than eight pages have color covers with black and white inside pages. We'll print and ship it to you within 24 to 48 hours after receiving your order. Please note that your print-to-order patterns will be shipped separately to you so if you ordered other items, you'll receive multiple packages.

This hooded cardigan takes a playful approach, with blocks of color popping up where you least expect them! Knit with 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) skeins of A and 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) skeins of B with #4 worsted-weight Plymouth Yarn® Encore® Tweed using a U.S. size 9/5.5mm 32" circular needle.

Love this pattern and yarn recommended. I had never done Intarsia before but had no problems figuring it out. My first one was made in Nugget and Gronola and I am now working on my 2nd sweater in Gronola and Deepest Mauve and the colors are beautiful. Would even recommend this pattern for a beginner, the instructions are very good and easy to understand.
