I've got the body of the cardigan complete, I love the way it looks and I'm excited to finish, but I'm stuck on the sleeve increase rows. Can I get help from Annie's to explain it to me?

I love this pattern!!! I'm working on my sweater now and the pattern is so easy to follow. I can't hardly wait to wear it. I recommend this pattern to everyone. You will enjoy it, I'm sure.

I eventually did finish my cardigan. I had some trouble and then more. I am a beginner. I first made the Medium because it was the right bust size but it was way too small. I actually ended up ripping everything and starting again to make an XL which was way too big. I didn't get far on the XL before I decided to make a Large. The large still came out bigger than I expected. The first time I did the sleeves, they seemed too short so I added a few rows before the increase and on making them again for the large, they came out way too long. The hood is huge. The entire thing weighs a lot. It took about 2.5 of the pound of love yarn with a J hook. It's going to be my lay around the house cardigan I think. It might be too heavy and long in the sleeve and hood to be worn out. I wanted buttons so I added single crochet rows to the inside of the front panels. I am going to say the pattern is probably fine and I am just too inexperienced to do a good job on it. I might try again later.

I made this for my daughter. But I used a size 3, bamboo/cotton yarn, a size smaller hook than called for and had to adjust my gauge. She loves it. My next project is to downsize the pattern to my granddaughter's size and make a matching one for her.

I love this sweater, the pattern was easy to follow except for turning the cuffs - I didn't understand until I got the first sleeve finished & I didn't want to rip it back.
